The Limelight IT team assisted Siddhi Engineers in implementing Basic Digital Twin setup.And which helped the industry to accurately monitor the production cycles of individual machines and generate the OEE report and Production report for them in one click.
The challenge for the limelight IT team was to cover five different types of industry machines that includes Draw batch machine, Furling Machine, Top Adaptor Machine, Micro Grooving Machine and Extruder. And implement a basic version of Digital Twin for all the machines. The Basic version of Digital Twin Covers Standby Time, Off Time, Active Time, Parts Count and condition of Machines. And to display all the data on a single dashboard with OEE report and production report generation facility.
Limelight IT interfaced total 7 Limelight IT IoT Gateway device with 3 Draw batch Machine, 1 Micro Grooving Machine,1 Top Adaptor Machine, 1 Furling Machine and 1 Extruder. Which were than connected to Limelight IT Server were the data goes through calculations and displays the final data on Dashboard with having different 7 sections for all 7 machines consisting of additional facility of linking the manual production data with the device data for generation of detailed production reports and OEE Reports.
The Limelight IT implemented Solution provided different benefits to Marudhar Industry. The industry overall breakdowns are reduced by 15 to 25% resulting in 15 to 20% % increase in production in same time as before, cost of maintenance has also been reduced by 20%. The cost of deployment was approximately INR 10 lakh and it took around 6 months for the deployment of the solution.
